Semiconductor lasers are a key element of equipment for modern optical telecommunication systems. Temperature is an important factor that directly determines whether the laser wavelength is stable. Thermoelectric module has both heating and cooling capabilities, and due to its accurate performance in maintaining temperature, it has become the best method for stabilizing laser temperature.
There are many different lasers, such as FB, DFB, EML, DML, VCSEL and so on, which lasers are required to be use thermoelectric cooler? Here are some examples for the reference.
