TO (Transistor Outline) is most common used packages in tele-com, IR, XRF and other types of detectors. The basic material of TO-13 type enclosures is usually Kovar or nickel- and gold-plated steel. X-Meritan manufactures thermoelectric assemblies for TO headers with differents pins. The header pins can be standard (cylindrical) or with flattened ends or nail shape to simplify wire bonding.
